Is Your Website Legal?
This year, the government brought in new legislation for business websites. They have now stated that, although they haven’t really enforced it so far, from the end of this year they will be actively working to ensure that businesses are compliant with the rules.
In essence, the legislation now requires a website to clearly show the registered business name, address, and registration number on the site (similar to the current requirements for business stationary).
To ensure compliance, we recommend that this information is placed on EVERY page of the website, and hence the most sensible place to put this information is along the bottom of each page, in the website footer (take a look at the Immediasite website for an example, you will see this information in grey along the bottom of each page).
We are offering to do this for our existing website customers for a one-off fee of just £50+vat, so if you would like us to add the required information to your website and make your website compliant, complete the order form below, and we’ll get it done immediately.
Please note that by submitting this form you are placing an official order with Immediasite, subject to our standard Terms & Conditions.
